Rukmini is a production showcasing inspiration, dedication, and perseverance based on the life story of Rukmini Devi Arundale. We explore one woman’s triumphant journey transforming the temple
dance of the Devadasis into a performing art. Rukmini channeled both positive and negative influences to bring her vision to life, including experiences from her young life and interactions with world famous ballerina, Anna Pavlova. Join Natya this year as they showcase their rendition of this story, Rukmini.
