The Asian Student Commission (ASC) serves to promote Asian cultural awareness on the University of Washington campus, for all students. The Commission is a representative of the voices and issues surrounding the University’s Asian and Asian-American community. Throughout the academic school year, ASC is involved in fostering social, political, as well as community activities.
What do you find as being your favorite or most rewarding part of your job? – I get to find creative ways that would bring different Asian communities and identities together to collaborate and work on common goals/issues.
With the Asian community, because we are so diverse, there are infinite programming possibilities that my mind is in constant motion thinking of what to do next!
Fun fact about yourself? – I fall asleep instantly & was thought to be narcoleptic.
