The Asian Student Commission is one of nine diversity commissions established by the Associated Students of the University of Washington. In our mission to advocate for Asian/Asian American issues on campus, we are dedicated to cultivating a strong sense of community among our constituents.

Goals:

• Provide opportunities for collaboration through social, political, and cultural programming
• Establish space for discussion and education about the complexities of Asian identities
• Connect student leaders to resources both on campus and in the greater Seattle community
• Support student development by empowering Asian/Asian American voices
• Promote equity, justice, and visibility for our constituents and community members
