Bite of Asia

Bite of Asia is an annual food fair put together by the Asian Student Commission and its constituents. Traditionally, it is held on the Husky Union Building (HUB) Lawn. Each year, hundreds of students pass through the event for food, fun, and live entertainment from local talent on the UW campus and the greater Seattle area.

Since 1988, the goal of Bite of Asia has been to build community among the Asian/Asian-American and the Pacific Islander populations at the UW, to provide students with a sense of belonging and opportunities to connect with one another through food – whether it be trying new cuisines or taking a bite of something that reminds them of home.

This year, Bite of Asia/Taste of the Pasifika will be held on Friday, April 7th, on the HUB lawn from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. A number of RSOs will be selling food representative of their cultures.  Join us for a chance to taste a wide variety of dishes made by our multicultural student organizations!
